SSW is not permanently tied to one company, but job changes and renewals require conditions and procedures.
Key points
A job change may be possible within the field and job categories allowed by your status. Moving to another field requires that field's tests and conditions.
Both the worker and organizations have notification duties. A status-related application may be needed before starting with the new employer.
SSW (i) is generally limited to five years in total. Each renewal checks employment, support, tax, and social-insurance compliance.
Family accompaniment is generally not allowed under SSW (i). SSW (ii) can allow a qualifying spouse and children under Dependent status.
After dismissal, bankruptcy, or another reason outside your control, use the employer's job-change support and Immigration consultation early.
SSW ALL-IN is an independent, unofficial learning service. Final decisions and current requirements are governed by the Immigration Services Agency, responsible ministries, and official test providers.
